Just in case you don’t find playing Madden tactical enough, you now have to factor in possible invisible players. Throwing to that wide receiver in open space may not be the best play to make.
As seen in the gif below, that wide receiver in open space may in fact be being stalked by an invisible opposition player, waiting, ready to intercept the throw and return it for a touchdown.
I think this is a great move by EA. Playing Madden will now have you constantly on edge, the not knowing really ramps up the tension. Is that seemingly easy pass actually a viable option? Does your running back really have a clear path up ahead? You’ll never feel safe again.
