There are currently thousands of people all trying to play a single game of Dark Souls right now via Twitch. Unsurprisingly, it’s proving rather difficult. This Dark Souls attempt follows famous Twitch Plays streams such as Twitch Plays Pokemon and Twitch Plays Halo.
Twitch Plays works by mapping movement and combat of games to keyboard commands with the gimmick being that everybody on the stream can input commands, leading to wacky behavior and erratic movements. Given the intense difficulty of Dark Souls, it’s fitting that the title of this stream is a question.
At the moment of this being written, the streamers are having a rather difficult time with a single archer in a narrow hallway. Will they be able to conquer the game like the huge success of Twitch Plays Pokemon, or is Dark Souls a little too much for such a silly concept? Let us know what you think in the comments!
