Drew Struzan has been doing poster art for Star Wars for a long time, and he is beyond excited about Episode 7. In a recent interview with Movie-Weekly, Struzan gushed his praise for the upcoming entry into the sci-fi series, claiming that he had read about half the script and that “Honest to God, it is far and away probably going to be the best Star Wars you’ve ever seen”.
These words come not long after Struzan revealed his latest work: a poster for The Force Awakens depicting Han Solo as well as series newcomers Finn, Rey, and Kylo Ren. Drew has been working with the franchise for a long time now, and to hear such high praise coming from someone so close to the project is huge in the face of doubts from some of the Star Wars fanbase.
The Force Awakens has certainly lent itself to a air of mystery and excitement since it’s announcement. While many fans still have a bad taste in their mouths over the prequel trilogy, there are plenty still that believe that Episode 7 can be a fresh start for the series
