EA has once again continued their recent success with huge unique trailers for their Madden franchise. Last years Madden NFL 15 trailer featured Kevin Hart and Dave Franco in an hilarious Madden battle. This year, they went above and beyond with the Madden NFL 16 trailer, which looks more like a action film than a video game.
The trailer includes Rex Ryan, Rob Gronkowski, Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, and Colin Kaepernick. Colin Kaepernick plays the role of Al Pacino from Scent of a Woman, because why not. These NFL stars are joined by actors James Franco and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Check out the full trailer below and see the insanity for yourself.
EA’s comments on the trailer, “You’re going to attract a new audience by catering to what they’re passionate about, which in this case is football, competition, and the celebrity talent they like that are in the creative,” he said. “If you can get people to talk about your brand, to talk about your product in a positive way, ultimately that’s what’s going to lead to sales.”
Madden NFL 16 launches August 25th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. Xbox One’s EA Access members can start playing the full game now. What is you opinion on the trailer?
