A new Pokémon has been teased in the logo for the next Pokémon film: Pokémon the Movie XY. While he is hard to make out photo, this cute little fella looks to be a small, one-eyed, green skinned creature with no arms or legs, like a snake.
This isn’t the first time Game Freak has used a Pokémon film to show off a brand new Pokémon. Pokémon such as Munchlax, Lucario, Wailmer, and Buizel have all appeared in films prior to the games they were first usable in.
No word on if this new Pokémon will be DLC for Pokémon X/Y and Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire or if it’s the first shown off Pokémon from Generation 7. If it happens to be the latter, this may explain why Game Freak is taking break off the main series Pokémon games this year, but that is per speculation.
