A few weekend events have begun on Steam, allowing players to try out four games for free until Sunday, August 30.

The newest game to try is Ark: Survival Evolved, the dinosaur game that generated quite the buzz at Gamescom. The game is still in early access and does not come with the typical discount that accompanies most weekend events, but players should understand by Sunday whether or not the game is worth the $30 buy-in.

The next games in the lineup are the Company of Heroes series, Relic’s World War II RTS series. Both Company of Heroes and its sequel Company of Heroes 2 are free right now with an expansion for the sequel coming soon. Additionally, the games are both 75% off, bringing the original game to $2.49 and the sequel to $10.

Lastly is Mount and Blade: Warband as well as its expansions is free right now and comes with a discount of 66%, bringing the price down to $6.79.

All of these games are free to play right now with a Steam account until August 30 at 10 AM PDT. The sales that accompany them (except for Ark: Survival Evolved), last one day more.
