There has already been huge changes to the rosters of certain teams post TI. Cloud 9 have disbanded, EG have brought in Arteezy and released Aui, and Team Secret have lost Zai as well. These are just the confirmed changes so far, with many more likely to happen. IG, Fnatic and MVP Phoenix all look likely to change their rosters in the coming days.
MVP Phoenix look like they could lose the majority of their players. Tae Won ‘March’ Park revealed in an interview that this will be his last TI. He is being forced to perform military service for the next two years, and sees no point in staying with the team for the next few months. There are also rumors that Kim ‘QO’ Seon-Yeob will be leaving South Korea. This combined with the news that Nutz has left for Singapore and kphoenix is looking for a new team, leaves MVP Phoenix with potentially one player. It is possible that MVP Hot6 and MVP Phoenix will merge into one team.
There are also rumors around the rosters of IG and Fnatic. Fnatic appear to have kicked all team members except for Chai ‘Mushi’ Yee Fung and Khoo ‘Ohaiyo’ Chong Xin. The potential replacements for these players are not yet known. IG are also looking at a potential overhaul as ChuaN is considering retirement. He would however reconsider if he were able to play with Xu ‘BurNIng’ Zhi Lei and Luo ‘Ferrari_430’ Fei Chi.
