Disney’s D23 Expo has given Star Wars fans plenty to salivate over as we keep hearing more and more about the upcoming plethora of movies coming our way in the near, not too distant and distant future. The latest offering for Episode VII, The Force Awakens, is a poster made by none other than the legendary hand behind classic posters from Star Wars and Indiana Jones and more recently Harry Potter, Drew Struzan. And it’s beautiful.
True to the style that is so easily associated with Lucasfilm’s work the poster features Kylo Renn, Han Solo and shows John Boyega’s Finn wielding a Lightsaber. Does that mean that Finn is in fact a Jedi? Our first look at him in the original trailer showed him in a Stormtrooper outfit, so who knows?
There have been hundreds of fan creations popping up all over the internet since the announcement of the latest instalment in the franchise but it’s pretty safe to say that none of them really come close to this one. The movie is set to open in cinemas later this year on December 18, quite an awesome Christmas present if you ask me.
