Its release may be 17 months away, but you can already preorder yourself a copy of Rise of the Tomb Raider on PlayStation 4.

Amazon now has the game available for preorder ahead of its expected holiday 2016 release date on the console. At the moment, the game carries a price tag of $59.99, possibly disappointing players who expected a slightly lower price given the game will already be out for a year when it arrives on PlayStation 4.

The online retailer has a release date of December 31, 2016, a common placeholder date for titles released in a year without a specific day. Still, preorders for the title are available before it’s even released on Xbox.

Rise of the Tomb Raider was announced a few weeks ago to be headed to PS4 holiday 2016 after coming to PC in early 2016 according to Square Enix. The title is set to come to Microsoft platforms first on November 10.

How is this news? Retailers always make pre orders available as soon as games are announced these days. Look at GTA V, as soon as the reveal trailer was released in 2010 ish you could preorder it before the release date was even known. Square said last week it was to be released on ps4 in holiday 2016, so as is usual retailers have made preorders available now it’s official.
