Xbox head, Phil Spencer, took to Twitter Wednesday to offer his thoughts and well wishes to Nintendo’s newly appointed president, Tatsumi Kimishima. After being asked his thoughts, Spencer responded with the following tweet:

Kimishima will be filling the shoes of the recently deceased Satoru Iwata, certainly a hard act to follow-up. He was only elected for a one-year term at Nintendo’s helm. When asked his plans and how he’ll effect change in the company, Kimishima explained he had no intention to alter the course Iwata had set.

Kimishima acknowledged that the Wii U will not be a success and seems to be focused on new projects in the mobile market. Kimishima will also be leading the company into its launch of the NX. Nintendo is also lending its characters to Universal theme parks and may have some film concepts in the works. Let us know in the comments how you think Nintendo will do with its new leader!
