Only just releasing the (now assumed spin-off title) The Great Ace Attorney in Japan a few months ago; Famitsu confirmed that Capcom is now turning the wheels for the 5th sequel to the main game. According to Famitsu’s report:
As early as Tokyo Game Show 2015, Ace Attorney 6 will be playable for exhibitors! There is a new system that will make the gameplay quicker.
Attendees for TGS 2015 will also get a sticker set for participating in the demo as well as more information on stage as well as experience a video that features a ‘special courtroom scene’
The game will be featured at the Capcom booth on Septemer 17th to the 20th.
Ace Attorney 6 (or Gyakuten Saiban 6) precedes Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies. There has been no word on whether or not the storyline for the next title will follow up on Dual Destinies or be another time frame. Or that it even features Mr. Wright again! For that matter, there is still no word on a western release for The Great Ace Attorney. Hopefully that comes out in due time or gets a release date soon!
