We haven’t heard much about the forthcoming AMC series, Preacher, in recent months, but new photos of the cast on-set have emerged. We now have a clear look at some of the characters including the fan-favorite Arseface, played by Ian Colletti, and the vampire Cassidy, played by Joseph Gilgun.
The photos were posted to the Facebook account of The Old Lamy Mission Movie Set. Seen below, the tv show’s Arseface is considerably less grisly than the comic book version and Cassidy has a new look altogether.
If you are unfamiliar with the comic book series, AMC’s description of the Seth Rogen-Evan Goldberg series is as follows: “Preacher is about Jesse Custer, a conflicted Preacher in a small Texas town who merges with a creature that has escaped from heaven and develops the ability to make anyone do anything he says. Along with his ex-girlfriend, Tulip, and an Irish vampire named Cassidy, the three embark on a journey to literally find God.”
The show is projected for a 2016 airdate with Breaking Bad’s Sam Catlin on-board as executive producer. What do you think about the show’s looks for the characters?
