Gears of Wars Ultimate Edition released one week ago on August 25th. The remastered edition is being praised as one of the best remastered edition we have seen on a console, and many gamers are picking it up.
If not for the remastered edition, for the fact that you will be receiving the previous installments in the Gears of War franchise for free come November, and the release of the Backwards Compatibility program.
Until Dawn also released on the same day, receiving high praise from most critics, it still didn’t beat the Gears of War franchise in the UK.
Being fair to Until Dawn, Gears of War already has a pre-established following, and with the way that they made the Gears of War Ultimate Edition look, its understandable to think that the game would be purchased in the volume that it already has been.
