Hyrule Warriors Legends received a release date in Japan at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
Hyrule Warriors Legends will release in Japan on January 21, 2016. The game will release on the 3DS. There is no word on when the title will be released outside of Japan.
The 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors will add characters from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, including Tetra and The King of Hyrule. The new characters can be transferred over to the Wii U version of the game. The title was revealed for the 3DS at this year’s E3 event.
Hyrule Warriors originally released on the Wii U in 2014. The game was a mash-up of The Legend of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors franchises. The title features characters from the RPG series along with the gameplay of the action franchise. The title was released to a positive reception.
