Lionhead Studios announces it is not currently working on Fable 4.

Recently, Lionhead sent out a tweet stating they would be sending out the beta invitations for Fable Legends. Shortly after that tweet, Lionhead released another tweet stating that they aren’t working on Fable 4, This is because their priority right now is Fable Legends. They also stated that they would continue to work on Fable Legends “for the foreseeable future.”

Fable Legends will be coming to both the Xbox One and PC later this year. However, the game won’t be available through steam. The studio has a ten year plan for the new game. They will continually be releasing downloadable contents for the title.

Fable Legends is an action role-playing game. It has 4 vs. 1 online gameplay. 4 heroes will be going against the villain player. The villain basically acts as the dungeon master. The villain sees the world from a top-down view, as opposed to the heroes 3rd person view. The villain controls controls the quests the heroes will journey on. He or she can also choose where to spawn enemies and traps to ambush the heroes.

Fable Legends will be free-to-play when released. Lionhead have very high expectations for their upcoming game. I hope it’s as good as the game sounds.
