If you’ve been paying any sort of attention to the gaming world this last week, it wouldn’t have slipped past you a big game, many years in the making was finally released.
No, I’m not about to name some obscure title as a hilarious joke. It is of course Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Though it launched to some online issues, and missing DLC codes – it has been very well received critically.
More positive news has recently been unearthed, spotted on Japanese websites, an advert is stating the game has shipped over three million copies already. Though the amount of games shipped isn’t the same as amount of games sold, it is a good indicator of how well the launch has gone. On a related note, it’s the same amount as MGS 4: Guns of The Patriots.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is out now for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
