The Witcher 3’s first expansion, Hearts of Stone, has received a ton of new screenshots as released today by developer CD Projekt Red.
The images of the first paid content for the game, which is set to be released on October 13, show the various characters, lands and environments that players will interact with in the expansion. Many lines of dialogue and maps have been blurred out to avoid spoilers.

During this first expansion for The Witcher 3, Geralt will spend time in areas named “No Man’s Land” and “Oxenfurt.” The expansion will introduce new characters, powerful monsters, unique romance, and a brand new storyline shaped by gamer choices, named “Runeword.”
“Each Runeword will impact a different aspect of in-game mechanics and will allow the players to experiment with various strategies and tactics,” the expansion’s description reads.
Hearts of Stone is the first of two expansions coming for The Witcher 3, with the second one, Blood and Wine, coming early next year. Hearts of Stone will be available for $19.99.
