Blizzard have a legacy of crafting worlds rather than games. Games like World of Warcraft and Starcraft may start out as games but story and lore soon take over and serve as the main driver for plot and story progression. But aside from the main plot lines that take us through the games there are many other stories to be told from the universes that these games call home and to continue in an already long history of telling these stories Blizzard have announced that they are teaming up with Random House LLC to bring out new novels from World of Warcraft, Starcraft and other Blizzard universes too.
World of Warcraft: Illidan by William King due to release in March, and for an original StarCraft novel by New York Times bestselling author Timothy Zahn are among the first to be announced but get ready or many, many more in the near future as this looks like a partnership that could go along way in bolstering the already deep stories these worlds are set in.
