Sony is planning on bringing back one of their most successful film franchise, but this time without one of the original star secret agents. In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald, the producers of the Men in Black movies, have confirmed they will be moving forward without Will Smith.

Based on a 1990s comic series, Men in Black revolves around two government workers involved with extraterrestrial life on Earth. The first three movies, released in 1997, 2002, and 2012 respectively, have been extremely successful. The third movie achieved more than $600 million global gross.

Currently, no further details regarding the Men in Black reboot are known. It is also unknown how this will affect the potential of a Men in Black and 21 Jump Street crossover suggested by the Sony email hacks last year.
