The Xbox Elite controller has extra buttons, triggers, and all around more customizability then the regular Xbox One controller. It also comes with a $150 price tag.

The Xbox Elite controller has the option to customize your button mapping, allowing you to play with a configuration you much prefer.

Fans were a little upset – and also assumed – that this wouldn’t be coming to the regular controller, while PlayStation fans thought this was a great time to use it as ammunition in the console wars.

Mike Ybarra of Xbox took to Twitter to respond to the fans, and Microsoft will be adding the ability to customize all controllers in a future update.

With Microsoft adding backwards compatibility through a update, and now button mapping, its a wonder what they won’t be adding to the Xbox One in the near future.
