Destiny: The Taken King and Metal Gear Solid V were both major releases during the month of September, but the former outsold the latter when it comes to digital downloads on the PlayStation Store.
The Taken King expansion released in mid-September and likely fueled sales for Destiny. The title not only topped the PS4 sales charts, but also successfully took the crown on the PS3, PS4 add-ons, and PS3 add-ons chart.
Meanwhile, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater – HD Edition topped the sales in the PS Store for Vita and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas landed at the top of the list for best selling classics. Full lists for PS4 and PS3 sales can be seen below, with additional lists available here.
