Production on the Assassin’s Creed movie is officially underway and the first image from the set has officially been revealed.

The picture was posted on Twitter by Azaïzia Aymar, head of content for the Assassin’s Creed franchise at Ubisoft. The photograph revealed very little, but did show a logo that will be familiar to fans of the series.

“Walking for the very first time inside of Abstergo was an amazing experience! Picture from set!” his tweet read. The image can be seen below.

The Assassin’s Creed movie stars Michael Fassbender and is being directed by Justin Kurzel, who previously directed MacBeth, a cast that Fassbender was also a part of.

“We told him we were going to build the project together,” Ubisoft Motion Pictures CEO Jean-Julien Baronet said regarding Fassbender’s role in the movie. “We have a huge brand and we want to make a make a film with references to feature films like Batman Begins and Blade Runner. He was promised that he could work with the writers, we would associate it with all key creative choices.”

Assassin’s Creed is set to hit theaters on December 21, 2016, while the next game in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, is only weeks away, arriving on October 23 on PS4 and Xbox One.
