Killing Floor 2’s developer, Tripwire Interactive, has shown a preview of its new map “Black Forest”. Players will be tasked to find “something” within the woodland terrain, but what that is hasn’t been revealed.
Killing Floor 2 released an update which featured enhanced map creation tools such as landscape tool support for outdoor themed maps. Black Forest will be a showcase map for players who want to get an idea of what a polished outdoor themed field looks like.
Although Tripwire Interactive hasn’t stated the exact date of when to expect the new map, they did hint at increasing their Steam Workshop support. Already available on the Workshop are items like weapon skins and other cosmetic items.
The game has been in early access since April this year for PC players. Killing Floor 2 has a scheduled release of sometime this year.
