For over 25 years, Madden has been the face of the NFL in the video game community. The latest release, Madden NFL 16, being no exception. With a new installment every year, Madden fans know they are getting up to date rosters and more features to better simulate the real football experience.

One of the best things about the technology of today is that if the current Madden has issues one is unhappy with, they won’t have to wait a whole year for those issues to be fixed. This week, EA released a new update for Madden NFL 16 that has patched over 100 gameplay problems. Most notably, when a timeout was called during a safety punt, it became a regular kickoff. This and many other oddities should now be fixed and the game can properly go on.

Check out GameSpot’s report for the full list of issues that the update has mended. Madden NFL 16 is available now for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4.
