Bloodborne fans were just given a tease recently from the official Twitter account. From Software revealed an image of a brand new weapon from the upcoming expansion to their gothic action-RPG, Bloodborne: The Old Hunters.

Looking similar to the trademark Saw Cleaver, the new weapon is called a Juunikutachi. It’s difficult to speculate by just this one image but it seems like a longer range version of the Saw Cleaver, but it might also fold based on the modules across the blade. A possibility is it might give even greater range, similar to the Castlevania-esque Threaded Cane, or it might fold into itself for a bludgeon or, dare I wonder, an alternative shield mode? Probably not, but it’s fun to think.

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long to find out, since Bloodborne’s first, and according to From Software only, expansion will be coming to PS4 on November 24th for $19.99, with a Game of the Year Edition that packages the expansion with the core game releasing on the 25th.
