In different fashion than most video game companies, Nintendo likes to give news about the latest games and hardware in the form of small videos called ‘Nintendo Directs.’ With the tragic passing of Nintendo’s late president, Satoru Iwata, who used to host these videos, there has not been one since.
In a report from GameSpot, however, it seems like Nintendo is ready to give a new direct with its current president, Tatsumi Kimishima. This news was confirmed on Twitter by Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuki. Nintendo could be talking about their plans in moving into the mobile gaming world, along with their partnership with DeNa. They could also be talking about some games or hardware we have yet to see.
Only time will tell what’s to come from a new Nintendo Direct by the end of the year.
