Sony has announced a price drop for the PlayStation 4 in Europe.
The PlayStation 4 now has a recommended price of €349.99/£299.99 in Europe. “Since the launch of PS4 our aim has always been to provide players with the best gaming experiences at the best value, and we’ve been thrilled with the amount of players who have joined our world,” Sony stated.
Sony Entertainment Europe boss Jim Ryan stated that the console now presents its “best value ever just in time for the holiday season… With this year’s biggest blockbusters and next year’s best exclusives such as Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End set to thrill players, there has never been a better time to join the PS4 community.”
A price cut for the PlayStation 4 in Japan was announced at this year’s TGS. The system recently received a price drop in North America as well. A PlayStation 4 with a 500GB hard drive now has a price tag of A$479.95 (including GST) in Australia, which is down from A$549.95
