Yoshinori Ono, producer of Street Fighter V, has revealed that six additional DLC characters are to be added to the game in 2016. During Sony’s Paris games week briefing Ono teased new fighters but wouldn’t disclose their names.

These six unlock-able characters will most likely be acquired through micro-transactions or game-play. As previously revealed DLC in Street Fighter V will be free and most items can be purchased with the games own currency known as fight money.

The game also now has a confirmed release date of February 2016 for both PS4 and PC. Classic Street Fighter character Dhalsim was also revealed with a new look ready for the new game. Street Fighter V’s recent beta test has now been closed to players. The test didn’t run entirely smoothly but the games cross-platform functionality was tested.

Ono has asked fans to guess who these new six fighters may be with the only clue being a silhouette image which can be seen below.
