There’s a buzz around the office at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and Shahid Ahmad, SCEE’s Strategic Content Director, couldn’t keep it to himself. He took to Twitter to tease about what we could be seeing in the near future from Sony. “If only you could see what I have seen (and signed)” he tweeted and followed up with “it’s my job to bring great devs and games to PlayStation and I like investing money in great talent”.
Although Ahmad mainly deals with developers, he sometimes gets involved with publishing and goes on to say “One day I will have to tell you why this week was so momentous”. Kick Off, which was announced earlier this week is apparently only the tip of the iceberg and when asked about whether any of the games he’s recently signed will be making an appearance at Paris Games Week he teased “you never know ;)”.
It’s going to be really interesting to see what Ahmad’s been up to at Sony and what they’re planning on bringing to the table for Paris Games Week. There are certainly a lot of potential projects that PlayStation fans are hungry for and with PGW and PSX right around the corner it’s going to be an exciting few months for Sony.
