The Xbox One wireless controller adapter is now available to buy for $24.99 (£20). Originally announced at this year Game Developer Conference (GDC), the device connects to any USB 2.0/3.0 hub on a PC. From there, the adapter can communicate with up to 8 different controllers. As well, features such as the rumble tech will all carry over. Prior to this, the only way to connect a wireless Xbox One controller to a PC was through a USB-to-micro USB cord.

Microsoft’s year of marrying the Xbox One and PC realms has now come closer to becoming a reality. Between streaming Xbox One video games to a Windows 10 PC and creating cross-play games like Fable Legends, it’s never been a better time for PC gamers to grab an Xbox One, or vice versa.

The wireless adapter is only functional on PC’s with Windows 10. However, those with Windows 7 and 8 can upgrade to Windows 10 for free. You can buy the adapter on Amazon, Best Buy, and the Microsoft Store.
