IGN posted a 10 minute video, which can be seen above, that features gameplay footage from the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront DLC, The Battle of Jakku. The new DLC takes place 29 years before the events of the upcoming film, The Force Awakens.
The DLC content features a new map, Jakku, and a new 40-player mode called Turning Point where Rebels fight to take control of three Imperial bases.
EA also held a Twitch event today showcasing new gameplay footage from the Battle of Jakku. The full broadcast can be found on EA’s Twitch Channel here.
Star Wars Battlefront was released November 17th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Gamers who pre-ordered Star Wars Battlefront will be able to play the free DLC early on December 1st. The Battle of Jakku will be available to all others starting December 8th.
