It’s been a long time since the first movie, but almost 15 years later Derek Zoolander is making his comeback. Zoolander 2, the sequel to the 2001 comedy, reunites Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson as two of the most famous male models in the world.
Ben Stiller directed the sequel that will also bring back the main villain Mugatu, played by Will Ferrell. Also joining the cast are superstars, Penélope Cruz, Kristen Wiig, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Olivia Munn. Also, Justin Bieber makes a cameo appearance.
In an interview with Collider, Owen Wilson talked about reprising his role as Hansel, “It’s funny because the movie didn’t do that well but I guess over the years it’s developed a cult following,” Wilson said. “When we first announced the movie at the Paris fashion show, we didn’t know what the reaction would be but it seemed to be like a rock concert. I think that got us excited to then go and film the movie in Rome.”
