Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was originally slated for a February 2016 release date, but according to their official website, you’ll have to wait until August 2016 to get your hands on the game.

David Anfossi, Eidos-Montreal Head of Studio, made a blog post regarding the delays. “As you may have already seen by reading and watching the many previes for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, our aim is for it to be a worthy successor to Human Revolution, and to improe upon that game in every way possible. I know that expectations are extremely high, and we not only want to meet those expectations, but exceed them. […] So please be patient with us for a little longer, and thanks as always for your passion and support – through thick and thin. It’s a huge responsibility to work on Deus Ex Mankind Divided – we know, but also a huge privilege. We’re determined to deliver the best game we can.”

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be launching in August 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided had a controversy over the past few months, launching and then cancelling very quickly an augment your pre-order system. A collector’s edition was revealed back in September, and most recently another trailer was shown off for the game featuring Adam Jensen.
