Plants vs. Zombies once started out as a fun and addictive mobile game that won the hearts of a vast amount of people. With it’s humor and gameplay, the game spawned a continuing series with this unlikely rivalry, leading up to Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare.

How has Garden Warfare done in comparison to it’s predecessors? As of it’s launch in February 2014, it was reported that more than 8 million people have played the game and it’s positive reception would suggest that they were all satisfied. it should be noted that 8 million players does not mean that the game has been purchased 8 million times. The PC version of the game offers a 48 hour free play. Either way, this milestone is something EA is celebrating by giving players 80,000 PvZ coins that can be used for various in-game items.

If you’re a fan of this game and the series, don’t forget Plant vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will be released February 23, 2016 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Until then, keep enjoying the fun and save your garden.
