Bungie recently announced its plans to introduce a refer-a-friend system into their popular shooter Destiny. The developer broke the news whilst discussing details of the games soon to be released update.
“After this update is deployed, some of the more tech savvy among you will be able to dig up some details for a new initiative we have planned to arrive just in time for the holiday season. We’re planning something new to recognize and reward the Sherpas among you. We are calling it Refer-a-Friend.”
Whilst we are currently unsure of what kind of rewards players will receive for referring a friend to Destiny, Bungie has assured us we will find out in the not too distant future.
Along with this news the developer also gave an update on the returning Iron Banner, coming November 17th, which will include a new game mode as well as some new rewards.
