Resident Evil 6 has been spotted on Korean ratings boards for next-gen systems Xbox One and Playstation 4. Could this mean that we’ll be getting an HD remaster? It’s pretty likely.

This wouldn’t be the first time the Korean ratings board has outed the release of a game in the series. When Capcom brought Resident Evil: Revelations from 3DS to consoles, the news was leaked in the same way, before ever being announced in the states.

Capcom has recently brought their HD remake of the original Resident Evil to PS3, PS4, XBox One, and XBox 360, PC and they plan on doing the same for Resident Evil Zero early next year. A retail compilation that includes Resident Evil HD Remaster and Resident Evil Zero HD remaster will be released on January 22, 2016.

Resident Evil 6

Resident Evil 6 was originally released in October of 2012, for Playstation 3 and Xbox One, coming to PC later in 2013.

There are also plans for an HD remaster of Resident Evil 2, arguably the most popular of the series, and a highly anticipated re-release. Fans have been practically begging for it for some time, and most could not have been more joyed to hear it was actually happening.
