If you are into E-sports, and more particularly Starcraft II, the get yourself over to www.twitch.tv at 20:00 CET tonight for a unique tournament. Archon All-stars is a single elimination tournament that pits former StarCraft II pro players and personalities against current Starcraft II pro players in Legacy of the Void’s new Archon mode. There will be eight teams of two doing battle live on Twitch later on today.
Archon mode is brand new mode introduced in Legacy of the Void that will place two players in control of the same army against an enemy duo. By sharing the responsibility of commanding troops and managing resources, players can focus on their own areas of the battle and execute more intricate strategies.
For any Starcraft II fans the names of the players taking part will be pretty recognisable. Here are the teams:
Hyun and MaSsan
CatZ and Destiny
Huk and iNcontroL
Bunny and Sheth
puCK and Sheth
Kelazhur and Strifecro
Stephano and VioLet
MaSa and Trump
Prizes will be given out to each team taking part. First place will receive $1000, second place will get $400, third and fourth will pick up $200 and the remaining four teams will each get $50.
