With the latest incarnation of Capcom’s legendary fighting game franchise coming next year the developer have revealed a collectors edition to entice the hardcore fans.
A limited quantity of steel book case editions will be available for PS4 owners coming with numerous items and content. Obviously there is the steel book case itself featuring an image of Street Fighter talisman Ryu on the cover. Along with this those who purchase this edition will receive “all content from the game” that of which we are currently unsure of. However series creator Yoshinori Ono recently spoke to Gamespot and revealed how he had a 5 year plan to support the new game. Suggesting there will be a lot more content revealed down the line.
As of yet we are still waiting for a price for the steel book edition of the game although it will be going on sale in general Europe.Due to Sony helping both in terms of publishing and development Street Fighter 5 will not be coming to the Xbox One. During the same interview Ono was also asked what he had to say to those in possession of a different console “There’s plenty of time to save $300 before the game comes out. The PlayStation 4 is at a very attractive price point at the moment.”
Street Fighter V is set to release February 16th for PC and PS4.
