Bethesda Studio’s The Elder Scrolls Legends will not be coming at the end of the month as originally expected.  Instead, it looks as if Legends will be released sometime in 2016.  Bethesda’s VP of Marketing, Pete Hines, replied to a player’s tweet asking if TES Legends will be available in 2015 by stating “I think it’s safe to say it’s not coming within the next 15 days.”

When the player questioned if that means we would be getting a “more polished and better game at release,”  Hines replied with “That’s the idea.  (I’m playing it right now.”  Which means to say that as of now, the game is probably playable but stills needs to be touched up.

Currently, there is no hard evidence as to how the online-card-game is going to be played.  The trailer only offers glimpses of face characters and an ominous monologue regarding the mythos of the Elder Scrolls.  How The Elder Scrolls Legends will compete against other online strategy card games such as Blizzard’s Hearthstone remains to be seen.  The game will be playable on the PC and handheld devices.

As of now there is no concrete release date of The Elder Scrolls Legends.
