Marvel’s next big blockbuster, Captain America: Civil War, is well on its way and the hype is massive. With the American trailer already out, Marvel has recently released the international trailer with twice the action and twice the explosives. The trailer depicts new fight scenes and few new lines. Many of the fight scenes depict Cap versus Iron Man (the overarching plot for this entire movie) as well as Cap’s friend, Bucky, The Black Widow and more.
The trailer also showcased a new face to the Marvel Cinematic Universe: The Blank Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman. The film also boasts quite an impressive list of characters. Those shown in the trailer are Hawkeye, The Black Widow, the Scarlet Witch, Iron Man, the Winter Soldier, Falcon, and Cap. Not in the trailer, however, are Spider Man and Ant Man. Spider Man is going to be played by Tom Holland and Paul Rudd will revisit his role as Ant Man. What role Spider Man will play in this movie remains a mystery, but the cast listing from IMDb shows a listing for Aunt May, although this is still merely speculation. There is not a cast listing for Uncle Ben so we probably won’t have to watch him die. Again.
The premise of Captain America: Civil War is set after the events of the Age of Ultron in which the government wants to register superheros, something Iron Man and Captain America heavily disagree on. The movie is set to be released May 6, 2016.
