In a brand new trailer, there’s some new footage on the new ‘hub world’ which serves as both a place for players to view stats and other goodies, but to also engage in some casual king-of-the-hell combat against the opposing team. The hub world is known as the Backyard Battleground and is split into three sections. Two opposing sides that hold the Zombies or the Plants and a neutral zone where the mini battlefield is at.

Each of the faction bases have the same sort of features that allow players to deal with all sorts of customization and check out their statistics. For instance, the center of these zones have the stat rooms where you can check out achievements and in game character statistics. There’s also sticker shops that allow players to purchase stickers which aid the player on the battlefield with various items and buffs. There are portals you can access to take you to proper multiplayer matches. Finally, there are special challenges and missions you can fulfill to receive rewards from. The faction zones incentives exploration as there’s chances for players to find loot chests around the area.
