Remember how great it was that the classic Grim Fandango got a modern PC and PSN release? Well Double Fine is keeping the beloved 90s Adventure game revivals with their recent announcement.

At the keynote for the Playstation Experience the founder of Double Fine Productions and creative mind behind Psychonauts, Tim Schafer, revealed the trailer above for Day of the Tentacle Remastered, and that it would be coming to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in March 2016.

Between this and Grim Fandango Remastered, I’m all for Double Fine keeping these classics available and relevent to the gaming public. Telltale Games were obviously inspired by Schafer’s comedic sensibilities and game design, and they went on to work on new iterations of Sam and Max and the adventure game spin-off, Tales From the Borderlands.

But what was also a bit of a head turn was another announcement Double Fine made. On top of Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Schafer said there was a remaster of the motorcycle mayhem game, Full Throttle in the works. No release date was given but compared to the clout of the last two remastered games, I’m a bit ambivalent on this remaster. Either way, more power to Double Fine with their announcements lately, and less money in my wallet.
