This week saw the release of Grand Theft Auto V’s latest expansion, Executives and Other Criminals. To help celebrate the update’s release, Rockstar has launched a weekend event allowing players to earn double cash and experience in Grand Theft Auto Online.
During the weekend, gamers can earn double GTA$ and RP playing Adversary Modes, including the new mode, Extraction. Players can also earn double GTA$ in sea races on their new yachts, which can be used to customize their new sea vessel.
You can also partake in some hefty discounts, as Body Armor, Bulletproof tires, and Vehicle Armor will be 50% off. Those wanting to protect their new yachts can get RPG Rockets for 50% off, as well as a discount on Sniper Rifles, Pistol ammo, and gun engravings. There will also be 25% off all Docktease Services.
Along with double the GTA$, RP, and discounts, a snapshot contest and giveaway will also be going on, with prizes including 1,000,000 GTA$ towards a yacht or stilt house. You can read about that here.
Grand Theft Auto V is available for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Executives and Other Criminals released earlier this week on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One (no PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360). The weekend event is going on now, and will continue through Sunday, December 20th.
