Star Wars Episode VII is only days away from release and Google are adding to the hype with their new Chrome experiment game. Lightsaber Escape is a dual-screen experience which allows you to synchronise with your internet browser and turns your phone into your very own lightsaber.

Your task is to deflect and block shots fired by storm troopers as you progress through the Star Destroyer and successfully escape the First Order. The game uses your phone’s accelerometer to detect movement and features full sound effects, adjustable graphic settings and works with Google Chrome.
You can pause during battle but it’s worth noting to make sure to adjust your screen lock timeout so you don’t lose calibration. This experiment is part of a series of Star Wars affiliated Google features which are all available now via Google’s Star Wars page.
