Level-5 studio announced a sequel to their RPG Ni No Kuni at the Playstation Experience today. The new game Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom shares the classic studio Ghibli Anime style with the first game.
The game’s story follows two main characters. Evan The boy king, and Rolland a visitor form “another world”. Judging from the first Ni No Kuni the other world will be our world and the game will take place in the world of Evan and Rolland will be an audience surrogate of some sort.
The original Ni No Kuni was released in 2010 on PS3 and was one of the first games to collaborate with Studio Ghibli and bring their classic Anime style to a console.
