With the Star Wars new film tantalisingly close to release, a trailer with brand new footage has been released. The trailer features many new shots, as well as new dialogue between our heroes and indications of the greater plot and motivations.
Included is what seems to be a conversation between the film’s antagonist Kylo Ren and the burnt remains of Darth Vader’s helmet. This clip may lend evidence to theories of Kylo Ren’s identity (spoilers), but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
Though despite some claims, Ren may not be the character most assume. In an interview with Empire, director J.J. Abrams said the Kylo Ren was “not a sith”, and indicated that the character is acting on behalf of a larger enemy.
All I know is that I’m glad I’ve got my ticket. Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiers this coming Friday and already promises to be a box office smash.
