After much speculation, Team SoloMid has announced the acquisition of former Fnatic support Bora “YellOwStaR” Kim.
Following a disappointing showing at Intel Extreme Masters San Jose with former H2K support Raymond “kaSing” Tsang, Tsang announced he would not be signing with Team SoloMid and instead joined Team Vitality.
Kim had previously played support for Fnatic, leading their rebuilding after the departure of Enrique “xPeke” Cedeño Martínez, Lauri “Cyanide” Happonen, and Paul “sOAZ” Boyer. Despite this, Kim managed to lead with great success, winning both seasons of LCS and having an impressive showing at this year’s World Championship.
Team SoloMid’s acquisition of Kim marks the completion of their roster going into the 2016 season. With star player’s in every role, Team SoloMid looks to be a dominating force in next year’s LCS.
