Microsoft and Sony are banking on gamers having consoles on their Christmas list, as the Xbox One just had a price drop announced for a limited time only.
If you live in the United States of America, all consoles will be dropping by $50 from December 9th to December 26th. You can purchase a new system for only $300, the same deal offered on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Microsoft’s latest idea follows suit of Sony’s price drop, which brings the PlayStation 4 down $50 as well. The PlayStation 4’s deal, however, ends on December 19th.
Microsoft announced an additional sale, for those interested in digital games. From December 22 to January 7th, Microsoft’s “Countdown” deals for the Xbox One will feature games on a daily and weekly basis. It should be noted that the Xbox One outsold the PlayStation 4 in October, yet the November sales numbers have yet to be released. They are expected tomorrow, December 10th.
