Firaxis has released yet another look at their upcoming, hardcore squad strategy game XCOM 2. A follow up to XCOM: Enemy Unknown, XCOM 2 takes place after humanity has already failed, and the alien menace has won.
The trailer paints a pretty dire picture, but also shows off the all new mobile command center, and bit of a step up from the underground bunker of the previous game. While showcasing the new armor and weapons players will have at their disposal, the trailer also takes the time to point out the deadly new enemies players will have the pleasure of dying to.
Earlier today, Firaxis detailed their DLC plans for the game, including three planned expansions. XCOM 2 is headed exclusively to PC on February 5th, 2016, though the developer has said they are “not opposed” to a console version in the future.
