Hot on the heels of a second Marvel-Netflix success in the form of Jessica Jones, Daredevil is ready to make its dark, violent return. Though there were rumors the Netflix show would go up against Batman v Superman, Netflix has announced season two of Daredevil will officially air a week earlier, on March 18th.
The trailer containing the release date doesn’t actually show any new footage from the upcoming season, mostly sticking with sound bites and images from the first season, but it ends on a pretty ominous note.
It has already been revealed that Daredevil’s second season will see the man without fear go up against not only the Punisher, played by The Walking Dead’s Jon Bernthal, but also Elecktra, played by Elodie Yung. What do you think of the teaser? Let us know in the comments.
